Hi! I'm Andrea.
I first put on a kimono in 1982 and I’ve never stopped since. My journey began with judo — where I became a black belt — before earning my black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I was one of the pioneers of Jiu-Jitsu in Italy and the first to open a dedicated academy in Milan back in 2004. Along the way, I became an IBJJF European Champion and reached the podium at many international competitions. But what makes me proudest is having trained generations of instructors and athletes, some of whom went on to win European and World titles themselves.

At MILANIMAL, I direct the academy’s programs and you’ll always find me on the mats, teaching, training, and supporting our community every day. Around here, everyone simply calls me il Mestre.

Types of Private Classes Available:

• 1-on-1 Class
  A fully personalized session, tailored to your needs and goals. Ideal for fast progress and technical refinement.

• 2-on-1 Class
  A shared private session for two people. Perfect if you want to train with a friend or partner while still receiving focused attention.

• Small Group Class (3+ people)
  A semi-private group lesson designed for a few students at a similar level. Great for friends or teammates looking to level up together.

Please note: Once a lesson is scheduled, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will still be counted as used.
